Vertikální start polského MiG-29 na RIAT15

Na akci Royal International Air Tatoo se předvedl MiG-29 polského letectva s ukázkou téměř vertikálního startu. Po rozjezdu a nabrání malé výšky vystřelil do nebe jako raketa.

MiG-29 v kódovém označení NATO Fulcrum slouží v polském letectvu od roku 1989. Polsko je nevětším provozovatelem těchto letounů v NATO, poté, co je Češi a Němci vyměnili za jiné stroje. Díky průběžným vylepšením se počítá, že v Polsku budou MiGy-29 sloužit minimálně do roku 2028.
